I’ve read the benefits of maintaining a gratitude journal - and writing down what you are grateful for each day. Marie Forleo even says, “the dividends are in the detail,” - and that, the more specific you are in describing why you are grateful for things, actually takes the benefits and practice deeper.
I’m on the computer all day for work - writing, posting, sharing captions, etc. - so the last thing I want to do when I unplug is log on to write out a list of things I’m thankful for. And I’ve tried big, bound journals, but they are heavy (in my already weight-bearing bag) and then the pages and corners get scuffed up because I’m reaching into my bag every second of the day because. Mom Life.
